ABOUT

A pharmacist’s perspective, shaped for the page.

Hello, I’m Hena.

I’m Hena Arif, PharmD, RPh—a pharmacist and emerging freelance medical writer with three years of experience in community pharmacy.

Working directly with patients has shown me how much clear communication matters. Medication information can be complex, clinical evidence can be dense, and every audience approaches health information with different needs. My goal is to make that information accurate, understandable, and genuinely useful.

I am particularly interested in continuing medical education and patient information. I am also open to projects involving literature research, evidence synthesis, critical appraisal, and medical or pharmaceutical content.

My clinical background helps me consider both sides of health communication: the level of precision healthcare professionals expect and the clarity patients need.

What I value

Accuracy

Medical content should reflect the evidence and respect the limits of what it can support.

Clarity

Complex information becomes valuable only when the intended reader can understand and use it.

Care

Health communication should be thoughtful, responsible, and attentive to the person behind the audience label.
